Introduction of autonomous M-Flex system during Fruit Logistica
This week, it's once again time for the Fruit Logistica in Berlin, from 5 to 7 February. Metazet FormFlex will again be attending this annually recurring event, this time with the product introduction of the new autonomously operating M-Flex system.
M-Flex renders induction wiring superfluous
The M-Flex system is a derivative of the well-known M-Track system that allows automation of the internal transport system via induction wiring. However, the main difference is that the M-Flex variant no longer requires the use of the induction wiring. This is because the M-Flex system works fully autonomously and is therefore extremely flexible when it comes to the design and adaptation of the required routing. The system can also be very quickly implemented, as no further alterations need to be made in the working environment. No more cutting work in order to install the induction wiring and also no risk of breakage in the circuit.
A unique navigation method
The M-Flex system uses a unique navigation method to find its way around within the company. Thanks to this new navigation method, the M-Flex system no longer requires recognition points in the vicinity, and therefore even works excellently in a continuously changing environment. When combined with the 'Traffic Management' as part of the system, in order to determine where the vehicles drive, their destination and who has right-of-way when they encounter each other, all the traffic can be efficiently controlled from a single central hub. In other words, the 'flex' in the M-Flex name is clearly derived from the extremely flexible nature of the system.
